... we really have no interest in that at all.

No, seriously. this is the last one.

Until they ask us to do another.

This was actually part of the same project that Patrick did—so, really, technically, it only counts as one thing, and DID YOU SEE MY SONNY’S DIMPLES??

Such STAGE PRESENCE! OY!

Gus had a blast. Although, he did say to me, about the woman with whom he was doing the shoot: “I didn’t really like looking at her with all that lipstick on. She’s a little too pretty.”

Well.

She begs your pardon, I’m sure.

In other news: SNOW DAY!

I’d show you pictures of the glorious mounds and mounds of fluffy “white stuff” (thank you, local news, for your "clever" descriptors), except THERE ISN’T ANY.

There never is.

I would venture to guess Nashville has more snow-less snow days than any other area of the country. We do, however, have plenty of milk and bread in our homes, because OH MY GOD WHAT IF WE CAN’T DRIVE TO THE SUPERMARKET TOMORROW IN ALL THAT SLIPPERY NOT-SNOW??? BETTER STOCK UP NOW WHILE WE ALSO CAN!

The thing I hate about snow days is that I don't get them too (wahh). Larry does, thank God. Though he always pretends it is this GIANT CHORE to get a day off from work and spend it with the boys.

In his defense, it is.

Good luck with your “snow” day, honey. Maybe you can put the boys in their snow suits and take them not-sledding!

Or build a sNO-man.

Heh heh.

Oh, it’s early.

On a completely unrelated note, Larry told me last night that 6 out of 12 kids in his class have eaten frog’s legs. That’s 50 percent, for those of you who are not mathematical whiz kids like I am. (Actually, I just went back to double check and make sure 6/12 is 50 percent. And now that I’ve looked at it for a little while, I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE! Math Anxiety Disorder.)

When he told me that statistic, I was thinking in terms of French cuisine, and I was all, “Wow, you have some sophisticated little high schoolers at your fancy Academy.” But he was thinking more along the lines of “is there ANYTHING these crazy Southerners won’t eat?”

I think it’s a French thing that became a Cajun thing that became a redneck greasy fried Frogz-Leg  Shack kind of thing, but I’m too bored of this line of inquiry to research it any further.

Now what should we talk about?

Oh! If anyone has snow-less snow day suggestions for Larry, FEEL FREE to leave them in the comments. I'm sure he'd appreciate it. Or, if you'd like to invite our boys over for a play date? That would work, too. Whether we know you or not. It's fine.
